Christmas Colouring In Competition: As we prepare to welcome Santa into Adelaide for the Christmas festivities we are excited to bring some joy to the world with our colouring in competition. The competition runs from Saturday, 2 November 2024 to midnight Monday, 16 December 2024. Each entry will go into the draw to win a Road Safety Promotional Pack and a visit from Jeff the Road Safety Dog to their school. Download the colouring in sheet. Fatal 5 True Stories podcast

SAPOL has launched a podcast series, South Australia Police Fatal Five True Stories Feature Podcasts, highlighting the trauma caused to all those affected by a fatal crash.

Episode 3: The Story of Byron Gordon

The third episode in the series shares the story of Byron Gordon who was the first life lost on South Australian roads on 1 January 2021. Byron was riding his pushbike with a friend along Seaview Road, Henley Beach when he was struck by a drug driver who had crossed onto the incorrect side of the road. Byron died at the crash scene.

Episode 2: The Story of Kristalle Dumesny

Episode two was released in April 2022 as part of SAPOL's Easter road safety messaging. It tells the story of Kristalle Dumesny who was 18 years old when she died on 18 April 2017. She was driving home from her family's holiday home when she failed to give way to a heavy vehicle at the intersection of the Augusta Highway and Copper Coast Highway Port Wakefield.

Episode 1: The Story of Nicholas Holbrook

In episode one of the podcast, you will hear the true story of a road crash that took the life of 18-year-old Nicholas Holbrook. The crash occurred on the evening of the 11 June 2009 at West Lakes Boulevard, West Lakes, when he was a passenger in a speeding vehicle that was driven by his mate.
