South Australia Police actively support programs and initiatives that:
- promote positive relationships and break down any barriers between young people and police
- help young people develop their confidence, self-esteem and personal skills in leadership
- reduce crime by encouraging a sense of community responsibility and respect for the law
- educate young people about life decisions and consequences.
South Australia Police work in partnership with young people and youth agencies, attending forums where issues about young people are raised and addressed - from local community, to state and national levels. These forums explore ways of resolving problems and issues that affect young people.
