A woman has lost her licence following a crash at Gawler Belt last night.

Just before 6.30pm on Friday 14 June, police responded to reports of car crashing into trees at the intersection of Twartz Road and Redbanks Road

Police attended and found a Mitsubishi sedan with extensive damage but luckily the driver was found to be uninjured.

She was subsequently breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.221, nearly five times the legal limit.

A 51-year-old local woman was reported for drink driving and issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
