Firearms stolen during Lewiston break-in

Barossa Police are investigating a break-in at a Lewiston home yesterday.

On Thursday 5 December, Gawler Police were called to a home on Dawkins Road following reports of a break-in.

Police believe the break-in occurred sometime between 2.40pm and 3pm with entry to the property being gained by cutting a wire fence and forcing open the front door.

A firearms safe containing four firearms and assorted ammunition were stolen from the property.

Two suspects were seen loading the firearms safe into the boot of a vehicle.
