A man has been arrested after an incident in Tanunda.
It will be alleged that about 12.35am today (Sunday 27 April), police were called to Edward Street after reports that a man was causing a disturbance in the street.
When police attempted to speak to the man, he became aggressive and tried to assault the two officers, who used capsicum spray and a taser to bring the man under control.
Both officers suffered minor injuries.
The 39-year-old Tanunda man was charged with two counts of assault a prescribed emergency worker, disorderly behaviour and resist police.
He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
