Man arrested for firearms offences

On Wednesday 19 March, police attended a Kudla property and conducted a search, allegedly locating a rifle and ammunition hidden in the ceiling. Checks on this rifle reveal that it was recorded as stolen from a property in 2022. 
As a result of further investigations, detectives have arrested a 41-year-old man from Willaston. He was charged with possessing a firearm without a licence. The man was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 6 May.
