Update - Witnesses sought in Evanston Gardens stabbing

Barossa Detectives are seeking information from the public as they continue to investigate a serious assault at Evanston Gardens this morning.

Just after 2.15am, Tuesday 25 June emergency services were called to Gonis Circuit following reports that a man had been stabbed.

The man was allegedly stabbed on Seabrook Street after confronting two men who he suspected were interfering with vehicles parked in the street.

The 42-year-old man sustained serious however non-life threatening injuries.

Police searched the area however did not locate the suspects.

Further investigations revealed that a number of vehicles in the suburb of Evanston Gardens had been interfered with, and police are investigating each incident.

Barossa CIB is seeking assistance from witnesses who reside in, or were present in the Evanston Gardens area between 1am and 5am this morning to review any CCTV or dashcam footage they have which might show the two suspects involved.
