Update: Serious crash at Kingsford

Roads have re-opened following a serious crash at Kingsford this morning.

Just before 9.50am today (Wednesday, 5 June), emergency services were called to the intersection of Argent Road and Sturt Highway after reports of a two-car crash.

The driver and passenger of the red Toyota Corolla sedan, a 70-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman both of Waterloo were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the blue Toyota station wagon, a 48-year-old man from Glengowrie was taken to hospital for assessment and to have a sample of his blood taken.

Major Crash officers are examining the circumstances of the collision. Roads surrounding the crash were closed for several hours but have now been reopened.
