Update: Fatal crash at Fords

Just after 2pm on Tuesday 3 December emergency services were called to Greenock Road, south of Kapunda, after reports that a motorbike had left the road and crashed.

Sadly, the rider of the motorbike, a 71-year-old Lyndoch man died at the scene.

Greenock Road was closed to all traffic between the Thiele Highway and The Gap Road while Major Crash Investigators were at the scene, but all roads have now been reopened.

The man is the 81st life lost on SA roads this year.
