Speeding driver caught at Kapunda

About 9.30pm on Thursday 6 March, Nuriootpa Police were patrolling around Kapunda when they have saw a Ford SUV travelling at high speed on Main Street and onto Mildred Street.

Police activated their hand-held laser and detected the Ford travelling at 97km/h in a 50km/h speed zone.

Officers stopped the vehicle and identified the driver to be a 47-year-old man from Kapunda. He was issued with an expiation notice for excessive speed as well as a six-month instant loss of licence.
