Speeding P plater caught at Gomersal

A 'P' plate driver has been detected 55km/h over the speed limit at Gomersal yesterday.

About 3.40pm on Saturday 15 February, Barossa Police detected a Nissan utility travelling at 135km/h in an 80km/h speed zone on Lyndoch Road. Police stopped and spoke with the driver who was identified as a provisional licence holder.

An 18-year-old man from Mount Barker was issued with an expiation notice totalling $2527 and issued with a six-month immediate loss of licence.
