A man has been arrested after he allegedly set fire to his home in the southern suburbs yesterday afternoon.

About 4.20pm on Sunday 7 July, Southern District Police were called to a Hackham West address after reports of a house fire and domestic disturbance.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire.

The 57-year-old man was arrested and charged with arson and four counts of endangering life.  He was refused police bail and appeared in Christies Beach Magistrates Court this afternoon.
