Police have arrested two people after a suspicious unit fire at Hectorville last night.
Just before 7.30pm on Sunday 9 March, emergency services were called to Hectorville Road after reports of black smoke coming from a unit.
The unit was unoccupied however residents of neighbouring premises were evacuated.
The fire was extinguished by MFS crews.
Patrols checked CCTV footage and saw a man allegedly enter the unit a short time before the fire broke out.
Following an investigation, police arrested a 46-year-old man from Hectorville and a 46-year-old woman from Morphett Vale. They were both charged with arson and serious criminal trespass.
Crime Scene investigator attended the scene and determined the fire started in the lounge room.
