Arrest following TTP incident

A man has been arrested following an altercation at Modbury this week.

About 3pm Wednesday 8 January a group of up to six people were involved in an altercation inside the North East Road Shopping Centre. Good Samaritans broke up the group and police were called.

Police attended and identified a number of people possibly involved. Following an investigation, a 19-year-old Hope Valley man was arrested and has now been charged with use/threaten unlawful violence. He has been bailed to appear at the Adelaide Youth Court on 27 February.

Any violent or anti-social behaviour in a public place will not be tolerated and those involved may face further police action. Police would like to thank those members of the public who stepped up and assisted during the incident.
