Car torched in Paradise

Just before 1.30am, police and fire crews were called to George Road after reports of large flames coming from a vehicle that was engulfed in flames.

MFS crews attended and extinguished the blaze, but the silver Holden sedan was completely burnt out and destroyed and no driver to be seen.

On arrival police and fire crews observed what appeared to be tyre marks on the bitumen leading to where the vehicle was dumped.
