Cars stolen from eastern suburbs

Police are investigating after two cars were stolen from eastern suburbs overnight.

Between 10.30pm on Thursday 26 September and 3.30am on Friday 27 September, a home at Erindale was broken into and a silver Subaru station wagon (pictured) was stolen from the garage.  The suspects also stole other property items from the address including a handbag, wallet and garage remote.

Just after 3.30am, a property at Beaumont was broken into and a white Land Rover station wagon were stolen. A black Subaru parked on the property was also rummaged through.

Following an investigation, about 8.30am this morning, police attended a Huntfield Heights house where they located the two stolen vehicles as well as a stolen grey Hyundai sedan.  Checks revealed the Hyundai sedan was stolen from a property at Athelstone on Monday 23 September.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen these vehicles or have dashcam footage of the cars travelling in convoy overnight, or if you live in Erindale, Beaumont or Huntfield Heights area please check your cameras and if you notice any suspicious activity please contact Crime Stoppers.
