Construction worker injured at Glenside

At 8.43am Tuesday 25 June, emergency services responded to reports of a car colliding with a fence on Sydney Street.

A Mazda CX5 sedan has collided with a large gate and the gate has struck a construction worker at the site.

The construction worker, a 62-year-old man from Newton was conveyed to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Mazda, a 34-year-old woman from Glenside was conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is continuing.
