Drink driver Valley View

About 1.15am on Sunday 16 June, police were called to North East Road after reports a car crashed into a stobie pole.

The Kia SUV was significantly damaged but luckily the driver only sustained minor injuries.

SA Power Networks were called to repair the damaged stobie pole.

The driver was breath tested and allegedly produce a blood alcohol reading of 0.168, more than three times the legal limit.

A 39-year-old woman from Seaton was reported for drink driving and issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
