A driver had a lucky escape this morning after crashing into a hotel in Magill.
Just before 3.15am, Tuesday 4 June, police spotted a Mazda hatchback travelling at speed, east on Kensington Road.
Police conducted a u turn to try and catch the vehicle and found the car crashed into the wall and outdoor furniture of a hotel on the intersection of St Bernards Road and Magill Road.
The driver a 24-year-old man from Magill was not injured, was arrested and submitted to a breath test where he provided a reading of 0.145.
He has been charged with aggravated due care, drink driving. He has been issued a 6-month instant loss of licence.
He has been bailed to the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 21 August.
