Driver reported after Paradise crash

A man has been reported for drink driving after crashing at Paradise last night.

Just before 6.30pm on Tuesday 2 July, police were called to George Street after a Mazda ute crashed into a parked car. Thankfully there were no reports of injuries.

Police attended and breath tested the driver involved who allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.213, more than four times the legal limit.

A man aged in his 50’s from Athelstone was reported for drink driving, issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
