Man arrested after assaults at Modbury

Just after 4pm today (Saturday 16 November), police and ambulance crews were called to the Tea Tree Plaza bus interchange after reports of a man assaulting several people.

Victims were treated at the scene by paramedics.

The suspect, a 25-year-old man from Port Wakefield was taken to hospital for a medical assessment.

It is expected that he will be charged with multiple counts of assault.
