Man arrested for going equipped at Vale Park

A man will face court today after he was found in possession of breaking equipment at Vale Park this morning.

At 12.15am on Wednesday 5 March police were patrolling a caravan park on Harris Street after a recent spate of thefts, when they observed a man hiding between caravans holding a pair of bolt cutters.

On seeing police, the man attempted to run off and was arrested nearby. The man was searched and was found in possession of wire cutters, a torch and the bolt cutters.

The 41-year-old man from Adelaide has been charged with unlawfully on premises and going equipped.

He has been refused police bail and will attend the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
