PD Duke tracks down suspect in St Morris

PD Duke tracked down and arrested a man at St Morris yesterday.

Just before 12.30 pm, Wednesday 18 December police were called to Magill Road after reports that a business and vehicle were being damaged.

Witnesses reported a man was seen to be damaging windows to two business premises and a black BMW sedan that was parked on the road.

PD Duke and his handler were quick to the scene and located a man matching the description provided, on Glynnburn Road. Police attempted to speak to the man and obtain his details however he refused and ran towards Tennyson Road.

Patrols were called in but PD Duke swiftly tracked the man down on Kipling Street where he was arrested by patrols.

The 36-year-old man from Magill was charged with three counts of property damage, failing to provide details and resist police. He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on February 6 2025.
