Bus crash at Daw Park

Police are at the scene of a crash on Goodwood Road, Daw Park where a bus has collided with a tree and stobie pole.

About 12.20am today (Thursday 29 August), police and emergency services were called to the scene after a bus had crashed, bringing down power lines.

The bus driver, a 55-year-old Thebarton man was taken to hospital for treatment. Two passengers on the bus were also taken to hospital, but none of their injuries are serious.

Five other passengers on the bus were not injured.

A second vehicle, a Toyota ute also collided with the power lines. The driver, a 61-year-old Panorama man was not injured.

Southbound traffic is blocked on Goodwood Road at the Grange Road intersection and will be closed for most of today.

Please avoid the area if possible.
