Driver lucky to escape injury after driving car off cliff at Hallett Cove

At about 8.50pm on Tuesday 20 August, police and emergency services were called to Heron Way, Hallett Cove after receiving reports a Toyota sedan had left the road, over cliffs and landed onto the rocky beach below.
Luckily the driver was uninjured and taken to hospital for a check-up.
The vehicle has since been removed.
Police investigations are continuing into this matter.
