Man arrested for breaking into cars at Morphett Vale

At 2.15am on Friday 23 August a witness reported that he had disturbed a man breaking into his neighbour’s vehicle on Parramatta Drive.

Patrols attended along with PD Cooper and located the suspect on Bains Road in possession of a skateboard and various tools believed to be stolen.

PD Cooper located keys and fishing items belonging to the victim nearby that had been stolen from the vehicle.

A 40-year-old man from Morphett Vale has been charged with unlawful possession and will appear before the Christie Beach Magistrates Court on 3 October.
