Update - Fatal motorcycle crash at Blewitt Springs

A motorcyclist has died following a crash at Blewitt Springs this afternoon.
About 3.30pm on Thursday 29 August, police were called to Chapel Hill Road after reports a motorcycle hit a tree.
The rider, a 78-year-old man from Port Noarlunga South, sadly died at the scene.
Chapel Hill Road was closed between Schuller Road and Blewitt Springs Road for several hours while Major Crash Investigators examined the scene.
Chapel Hill Road was reopened just after 7pm.
The man’s death is the 58th life lost on SA roads this year.
