Suspicious fire at Plympton Park

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a Plympton Park business overnight.

Just after 10.20 pm, Thursday 12 September, emergency services were called to Bray Street at Plympton Park after reports smoke and flames were seen from a business premises.

When police arrived the rear of the business was in flames, MFS were able to bring the blaze under control.

Bray Street was closed for traffic for a short time however has since re-opened.

Fire Cause Investigators and Southern District Detectives attended the scene to determine the cause of the fire however it is believed the fire was deliberately lit.
