Trail bike seized after wheelies

A motorcyclist was arrested and had his bike impounded by police yesterday.

The motorcycle was allegedly spotted doing monos and driving without lights along Jetty Road, Glenelg just before 8pm on Saturday 24 August.

PolAir tracked the motorcycle as it headed south at speed and continuing to drive dangerously.

The unregistered trail bike was followed all the way to Marla Crescent, Noarlunga Downs where police quickly swooped on the rider.

The 23-year-old Noarlunga Downs man was arrested and charged with multiple traffic offences, including driving unregistered, uninsured and without registration plates, and driving in a manner dangerous to the public.
He has been bailed to attend the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 10 October.

The motorcycle was seized and impounded for 28 days.
