Teens arrested after street robbery on King William Street

Five teenagers were arrested after a street robbery in the city last night.

Just before 6pm on Saturday 28 December, police monitoring CCTV on King William Street observed a group of youths surround another teenager and forcibly remove his black Moncler jacket and belt.

Police gave chase and all five male suspects were quickly apprehended between Hindley Street and North Terrace.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident and police were able to return his jacket to him.  His belt has not yet been recovered.

The teenagers, aged 13, 14, 14, 15 and 17, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.  They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 19 February.
