Victim injured in street robbery at Oakden

Police are investigating a street robbery at Oakden on Thursday night where a victim was stabbed in the leg.

About 9.40pm on Thursday 20 March, the teenage victim was at bus stop 28 on Sudholz Road, Oakden with a friend when he was approached by two unknown men.

The men were wearing masks and hoodies and demanded the victim's bag.

When the victim refused to hand over his bag, he was assaulted.  He dropped his bag and ran off.

The suspects were last seen leaving Sudholz Road via a gate behind bus stop 28, towards Parkview Drive.

The 17-year-old victim later realised he had sustained a small stab wound to the leg during the altercation and attended hospital for treatment.

Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.
