Woman arrested in Rundle Mall

A woman was swiftly arrested in Rundle Mall this morning after allegedly threatening staff.

The incident occurred in Rundle Place just before 11.30am on Monday 28 October.

It will be alleged when security approached the woman after she left the store, she allegedly threatened them with a box-cutter.

There were no reported injuries.

Police quickly located and apprehended the woman a short distance away.

The 18-year-old Glenunga woman was arrested and charged with theft, aggravated assault, possess knife in public place, disorderly behaviour and breach of bail.

The box-cutter was seized by police.

She was refused police bail and will likely appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
