Cocaine seized on Highway

Two people have been charged with drug offences after cocaine was located in their vehicle at Whyalla Barson last week.

About 3.40pm Friday 13 December police stopped a black Mitsubishi Triton travelling south on the Lincoln Highway.

Police had cause to search the Triton, inside police will alleged they located trafficable amount of cocaine.

The two occupants, a man and woman, both 26-years-old and of Port Lincoln, were arrested and charged with drug trafficking. They were bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 5 February.
