On Tuesday, 1 April, the Eyre Western Local Service Area police conducted a successful community hub day in the Yalata community, titled "Collaborating Our Way." The event brought together various local services to share valuable information, focusing on the appropriate ways for adults in the community to utilise these services effectively.
The day was met with enthusiastic participation from the locals, fostering positive engagement and collaboration. This initiative has significantly contributed to building stronger partnerships and trust within the community. The event's success highlights the importance of such collaborative efforts in enhancing community relations and service accessibility.
A BBQ lunch was provided and enjoyed by all attendees, adding to the day's positive atmosphere. Local Yalata community members Vanessa Queama, Katherine Queama, Felicity Stewart and Alinta Smart were seen engaging with local Police Officer, Brevet Sergeant Schmidt and crime prevention member Senior Constable Brianne Gray, further exemplifying the day's spirit of community and cooperation.
