Drink driver apprehended in Whyalla

At 12.11am Sunday 23 June, Whyalla patrols observed a SsangYong Musso utility driving erratically on Jenkins Street.

Police were able to safely stop the vehicle and the driver was submitted to a breath test returning a positive result of 0.161.

The driver, a 44-year-old woman from Whyalla Stuart was reported for drink driving and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date. She received an instant loss of licence notification for 12 months and her vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
