Drink driver blows 0.153 at Whyalla

A drink driver blew three times the legal limit at Whyalla yesterday morning.

Just after 2am on Saturday 8 February, police pulled over a vehicle on Broadbent Terrace, Whyalla Playford for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 23-year-old Whyalla Playford man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.153 - more than three times the legal limit.

He was reported for drink driving and breaching the conditions of his provisional licence and issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence.   His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
