A man has lost his licence for a year after he was caught drink-driving on the weekend.

It will be alleged that about 10.30pm on Saturday 6 July, police received reports of a car being driven erratically on the Lincoln Highway.

A patrol stopped the Holden Captiva station wagon soon after and the driver underwent a breath test. He returned a positive reading of 0.150.

The 23-year-old Port Lincoln man was reported for drink-driving, he was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
