09 Feb 2025 5:56pm

A man has lost his licence for a year after he was caught drink-driving in Port Lincoln.

It will be alleged that about 1.34pm on Sunday 9 February, police stopped a Toyota Hilux on Tasman Terrace after the car failed to give way to the patrol car.

The driver of the Hilux, a 27-year-old Gulfview Heights man underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.172.

He was reported for drink-driving, issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
