Driver caught with high breath test reading in Port Lincoln

A man has had his licence suspended after he was caught drink-driving in Port Lincoln.

It will be alleged that about 4.10pm on Thursday 6 March, police stopped a white Toyota van on Tasman Terrace for the purpose of a random breath test.

Police had earlier received several calls about the van being driven erratically.

The driver, a 31-year-old Port Lincoln man underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.218.

He was reported for drink-driving and fail to produce international licence, he was issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.
