24 Nov 2024 7:15am

A woman has been caught drug driving in Ceduna last night as part of Operation Stop Drink/Drug Driving.

Just after 8.30pm on Saturday 23 November, Ceduna patrols stopped a black Lexus station wagon on Thevenard Road at Ceduna for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 42-year-old woman from Pennington, submitted to a roadside drug screening test where she returned a positive result to methamphetamine.

The driver was issued a three-month immediate loss of licence which will commence when her sample has been analysed by Forensic Science SA.  She will also be charged with drug driving.
