Drugs located in Whyalla

On Wednesday 16 April, Whyalla Detectives searched three homes as part of an ongoing operation within Whyalla. As a result of these searches, illicit drugs, drug paraphernalia and weapons were located and seized.

A 51-year-old Whyalla Norrie man was reported for possessing equipment for use in connection with consuming a controlled drug.

A 38-year-old man from Whyalla Stuart was reported for possession of a prohibited weapon.

Both men will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Whyalla police will continue to interrupt, detect, and prosecute those responsible for the sale, supply and possession of illicit substances within the township.
