Fatal crash at Lipson

Just after 9am this morning, Thursday 2 January, police were called to Lipson Ungarra Road after reports of a motorcycle that had crashed.

When patrols arrived the rider, a 60-year-old man from Tumby Bay had sadly died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigators attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The rider was last seen at a Tumby Bay address in the evening of 31 December 2024.

The man's death is the 91st life lost on South Australian roads in 2024.
