Update ll: Incident at Cowell

Just after 9am Saturday 1 March emergency services were called to Harbour View Drive after reports that a car had been located submerged in the water off the end of the boat ramp.

Police divers attended the scene from Adelaide to retrieve vehicle. Sadly, inside police located the body of a 31-year-old Aberfoyle Park man.

Major Crash Investigators also attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The man's death is not being treated as suspicious and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

The man is the 20th Life Lost on SA Roads this year.
