On Wednesday 11 December, just before 8pm, police were called to Tulka Terrace, after reports of two young males trying door handles on cars in the street. Patrols quickly attended and began speaking to witnesses, which led police to locating the two boys nearby.
A 12-year-old boy from Pennington and a 14-year-old boy from Port Lincoln were arrested and taken to the Port Lincoln Police Station, where they were each charged with Illegal Interference.
They have both been bailed to the Port Lincoln Youth Court on 17 February.
