Update - Eyre Highway closed after serious crash Nullarbor

About 6am on Tuesday 8 April, police received a report of a serious crash involving a truck and car on the Eyre Highway. The crash occurred about 75km’s from the Western Australian border.

Major Crash Investigators will fly to the scene from Adelaide.

The Eyre Highway is expected to be closed in both directions for most of the day.

Heavy vehicles are urged to park up at the Nullarbor Roadhouse or at Border Village if not already near to the scene.

Travellers are advised to reconsider their plans for today.
