Two arrested over Port Lincoln theft

Police have arrested two youths for theft at Port Lincoln last night.

About 6.40pm on Wednesday 26 March, two youths entered a service station on Mortlock Terrace and allegedly stole items from within. Staff locked the boys out of the service station when they became abusive.

The youths allegedly damaged the front doors before fleeing with stolen items.

Police attended and identified the youths involved who were arrested later that night.

Two 12-year-old boys from Port Lincoln and Whyalla Stuart were arrested and charged with theft and property damage. They were both bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court on 8 May.
