A vehicle had just exited a fast-food drive-thru in Liverpool Street, Port Lincoln just before 12.30am on Monday 9 December when police pulled it over for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 22-year-old Port Lincoln woman, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.084 and was reported for drink driving.

Both drivers were issued with six-month instant losses of licence, had their cars impounded for 28 days and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Port Lincoln Police remind drivers that they can be pulled over at any time for a mobile drug or alcohol test and not to drink or drug drive, especially during the Christmas period.
