Two youths arrested after car break-ins

Port Lincoln Police have arrest two youth after several vehicles were broken into on 23 July.

At 3.45am on Tuesday 23 July police were called to Kiama Avenue after reports a Toyota Prado had crashed into a tree in the Whait Reserve and the occupants ran from the scene.

Patrols attended and located two youth nearby.

Checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen from Port Lincoln earlier that night.

Police searched the teens and located items suspected to have been stolen from car break-ins in the area that night.

The 13 and 15-year-old boys from Port Lincoln were arrested and have been charged with unlawful possession and will appear before the Port Lincoln Youth Court at a later date.
