A drink driver was caught at more than five times the legal limit after losing a tyre at Port Augusta overnight.
About 12.15am on Sunday 27 October, police located a vehicle pulled over on Flinders Terrace with no front tyre and a flat rear tyre.
The driver, a 50-year-old Port Augusta man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.271.
He was reported for driving without due care and drink driving and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
He was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence and his car was impounded for 28 days.
