Fine for speeding driver

A man has been fined for travelling more than 30km/h over the speed limit in the states Far North.
Just before 3.30pm on Thursday 13 March, Woomera Police were performing mobile radar duties on the Stuart Highway, south of Pimba, when they detected a Kia Carnival travelling 145km/h in a 110km/h zone.
Police stopped the car and spoke with the driver, a 41-year-old man from Northern Territory. He was issued a fine totalling $1786 and accrued seven demerit points.
